Northern Pallet, Inc. was formed in 1980 by utilizing the assets of A One Pallet Company which Steve Gris had owned and operated since 1972 to perform pallet repairs. While structuring the new corporation, we reviewed our business philosophy, expanded our territory, purchased a truck fleet and a 7500 square foot building on 3 acres.

Recognizing that Northern Pallets geographical location in a low cost area allowed for competitively priced service to distant metro areas, we expanded by servicing companies in the larger cities in a 250 mile radius of our Factoryville site. Our territory has continued to grow. Today we have no geographical boundaries and our recycled products ship as far away as Canada and China.

As pallet recycling continued to become more accepted, Northern Pallet grew. In 1984, a new property with over 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space on 9 acres was purchased. In 1989, pallet recycling machinery was developed and we purchased the latest equipment and updated our truck fleet.

In the 90's, many different sizes of pallets became available and our sales in the non-food industry increased. To meet the demands of changes in the industry, we again updated our equipment, and expanded our product line and services. We now offer: new pallets, used pallets, combo pallets, pallet management, package recovery, salvage pallet purchase, decorative stone products for landscaping, and wood fiber board and mulch ground from unusable pallets.
